Is fair to say that the Calico cat is one of the most unique visually stunning felines available! With their unique, multicoloured coats, these stunning cats are now becoming increasingly popular within the UK and across the globe. Whilst the calico cat is not a breed, this time refers to the unique pattern of colour that can be found on their coats..
There are several breeds that allow the Calico colourations and they include;
Manx, American Shorthair, British Shorthair, Persian, Arabian Mau, Japanese Bobtail, Exotic Shorthair, Siberian, Turkish Van, Turkish Angora and Norwegian Forest Cat.
The majority of these breeds tend to be the larger sized felines and therefore the majority would require a more robust structure to ensure that it is suitable and does not sway or bend under the pressure and activity of your feline.
Although, having a strong and robust structure is perfectly fine for smaller breeds as well and also gives them more space for them to be able to climb and play.
