Four out of five stars for two reasons. 1) there were very minor and hidable chips on some of the peices. Was easy to hide. 2) not sure if it is a me issue or not but one of the bolts just won’t stay fixed to the screw so every few days I have to take the wheel off and tighten it. I’m going to take some nail polish onnthe screw to prevent slipping next time I’m fixing it.
This wheel is beautiful! My favourite part is both my Dyson and my Shark fit perfectly on the carpet making cleaning so so easy and.kind of fun. Both cats took to wheel immediately like they’ve been on it forever. The one a couple weeks later doesn’t seem to show much interest in it anymore as we.no longer give treats but the other adores it! The sound is not 100% quiet; but it’s not disturbingly loud either. I work from home and am frequently on calls with no one hears anything and the wheel sits beside my desk.
Putting it together took a couple hours, once I figured out the instructions it was wickedly easy! You get plenty of extra screws and fixings, and all the tools you need to put it together too.
Safety: the wheels sits in the stand/base very well and when either cat has gone at full speed there has been no shaking or anything that looks like skipping off the base. It is a sturdy wheel!
