I have purchased this house for my mega-active bengal, and I could not be happier about this product!
First of all, the delivery to UK from EU took just about a week and I was getting continuous updates from Jon without even asking any questions – this made me confident about the purchase and I had no doubts there won’t be problems with its arrival.
The house itself is very spacious, high quality, thought through and not too difficult to assemble given its size. Each element is very well done and you can feel the quality through and through. The boxes are a bit heavy though, but again, this is a large item, so that is expected.
Very important aspect is that it is EXTREMELY sturdy. The base of the house is much heavier than other parts and covers large space, so once assembled it does not wobble – I have no concerns that my cat will tip it over even though I had doubts when buying it as the main part of the house is in the upper part of the structure. Perhaps, if one has a maine coon (or a very heavy and jumpy cat) some safety strap could be an ease of mind, but I am not too familiar with these cats. The material it is made out is easy to vacuum, so this is not a dust collector like most mass market cat trees. Sides of the house are made out of similar material as scratching post (higher quality), but woven differently – so my spider-cat is ultra happy to have a wall to climb.
The only thing I wish was different is the “floors” of the “cave” – they are completely separate and my cat initially had troubles going between floors as there is no route around it other than climbing through the trapezoid hole: my cat couldn’t do it well at first but she seems to have found her way now. If there was an opening between “floors” inside the box – that would make this house simply ideal.
I would recommend this house to any owner of an active fluffball who likes heights – this cat tree gives many options for activities. However, if your cat is not all that jumpy or has issues with joints, it may find it a bit tricky.
